EHPBA Travel Award
The EHPBA is pleased to propose a number of Travel Awards to young surgeons who have demonstrated major interest and excellence in HPB surgery. The 1st travel award was given in Athens to Dr Tommaso Campagnaro, Verona. We have additional Travel Awards available to attend the Consensus Conference on Liver Transplantation for HCC in Zurich 2010, as well as the bi‐annual meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, in April 2011.
Those eligible for an EHPBA Travel award for the EHPBA 2011 (Cape Town) meeting are:
- EHPBA members
- Surgeons‐in‐training of 35 years or younger
- Authors of
already accepted oral/poster presentations
- Those that have a letter of recommendation from their mentor
€500 will be granted for travel expenses and the registration fee to the Conference will be waived. The announcement of the Travel Awards will be during the meeting.
The deadline for the travel award application is: 15 March 2011 (2011 EHPBA Meeting, Cape Town)
