9th EHPBA Congress
Welcome to the 9th EHPBA congress webpage!
On behalf of the Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association of South Africa it is my pleasure to introduce our association and our beautiful country.
It is a distinct privilege to host the 2011 European Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Association biannual meeting in Cape Town from the 12th to the 16th April 2011.
We believe that by having been given the opportunity to host this meeting our young society will grow and expand, thereby enhancing the practice of HPB medicine in South Africa and in Africa in general.
For our guests we will endeavor to make this an extremely successful and stimulating congress in one of the world's most beautiful cities and also look forward to the opportunity of sharing many of our magnificent attractions and multitude of cultures with you.
As South Africa will be hosting the FIFA world cup of football a mere 9 months prior to our congress the whole country will be fully geared up to ensure that all your needs are met in a secure and safe environment.
We greatly look forward to welcoming you and your families to South Africa and in particular to Cape Town in April 2011. You will undoubtedly go home with great memories.
