UEMS Examination on HPB Surgery

The first HPB examination of UEMS will take place on November 27 at the Military Hospital close to the airport of Brussels. We would like to ask you to encourage young colleagues to participate in it.
The UEMS Examination of HPB Surgery provides a unique opportunity for young HPB surgeons to prove their expertise and obtain a certificate from the European Union of Medical Specialists. It is accessible to surgeons who have completed 2 years of training in hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery after having obtained their recognition as a surgeon. The examination was developed in close collaboration with the EHPBA. The format is a multiple choice examination followed by an oral part in which leading European HPB surgeons will be the examiners.
Candidates for the examination should apply before October 31 by sending in the completed eligibility forms to the UEMS central surgery office.
